Here at PropFuel, we talk a lot about pattern interrupt, a marketing and communication technique of introducing new or unexpected content to interrupt someone’s thoughts and to grab their attention. And we think there’s a place for it in your member communications. 

In fact, it’s one of the reasons we think PropFuel works so well and why we say there’s still a place for broadcast emails; it interrupts the normal pattern of emails that your members have come to expect and in turn changes their go-to response--deleting your emails that have otherwise important information. 

But with all new things, it’s sometimes a good idea to introduce it to your members so they know what it is when it hits their inbox. Below is a sample email to help you introduce PropFuel to your membership. 

The email below can be sent in a broadcast email or in a personal email. Feel free to use these emails as-is or use them as a starting point to tailor for your unique membership or audience. 

Sample Email Introduction

[Association Name] is always looking for ways we can provide the greatest value to our members, leaders and community, and we know that in today’s virtual world that means making sure we stay connected to you.

We will be using a new tool, PropFuel, that will allow us to have more conversation-based communications with you through email. PropFuel emails will look similar to our regular emails except they will give us the ability to ask you questions and capture your response so that we can immediately point you to exactly what you need.

We think that’s pretty awesome and we know you will too, so look out for PropFuel emails starting [Date]!
